Communism was a side project of Russian punk pioneers Гражданская Оборона. It was studio-only band with compositions on absurdly exaggerated communism and Soviet pop-culture themes.

"Recorded with Flirt duet(Oleg Sur and Valerka Rozhkov). Material - yard folk songs from 60's - early 70's. In its way it is - a commendable and inexorable bringing of musique concrete to complete and final overfucking. Very beautiful and sad album." Yegor Letov.
